Hi Tobias,

 

Thanks for your time and reply.

 

Its true the listing check depends on the delivery date in PO. But as per the requirement the stores are to be stocked up before the promotion date with the related articles. Hence the delivery date is falling before the listing date, which in this case coincides with the promotion start date as it is interfaced so from third party.

May be it will be a good idea to bring the listing date down by few days, so as to cover the delivery date.

In case there is some alternative solution to this kind of a scenario, please post your message.

Error when installing InfoCube: 0FIAR_C03

Hi everyone,

 

i am installing Infocube 0FIAR_C03. However i got a big Problem. There is Error meassage like this:

 

Object ODB87SIC1 (infoObject,IOBJ) could not be collected for 0object 0Customer (InfoObject)

Object O0DBADDRES1 (infoObject,IOBJ) could not be collected for 0object 0Customer (InfoObject)

...............................................................

Object '0DB87SIC1 (IOBJ)' of type 'InfoObject' is not available in version 'D'

Object 'O0DBADDRES1 (IOBJ)' of type 'InfoObject' is not available in version 'D'

..............................................................

 

there are more than 100 error lines.

 

I have a looked at some other SCN discussion, but actually they the discussion is not answeared. and i follow some suggestion such as to find Info Objects in business content and install thems first. But it doesn't work because the InfoObjects don't exist.

 

Do anybody have idea of solving this Problem?.

Mohammed,

 

without using rules it is not possible to generate UniqueID. You have to write a rule and the rule will be "Rule Before Data Entry" and in that rule you can simply pass TIMETICKS which will be unique all the time.

Advice requested: new org structure or clean-up and keep

Hi,

 

Our company went live with ByDesign on October 1st, 2014. For one of our subsidiaries, we started doing order management in ByDesign, but kept all accounting in the existing system.

 

We run a single ByD tenant with 4 (soon 5) localizations, and an Org Structure that includes 10 legal entities, 9 of which are fully managed  in ByD, and the one I am discussing here.

 

In ByDesign, we have the relevant localization enabled, there is an org structure for this subsidiary (in our main ByD tenant) - not linked to the rest of the Org Structure (so we essentially have 2 Org Structures in ByD) - there are sets of books and charts of accounts for this entity, etc.

 

Since going live, we have created Sales orders, purchase orders and customer invoices in this company, but the actual accounting and financial management is still being done in a legacy system. So customer invoices do not show as paid in ByD, no CoGS posting have been made, assets are not managed in ByD, etc...

 

It is our intent to migrate the financial and management accounting for this company to ByDesign in the coming weeks, with an expected "go live" date on 1-Apr-16.

 

The question for which we would like some advice is the following:

Should we create a new Org Structure for this Company, and migrate opening balances and open position from the existing system into the new structure, or is it worth exploring to somehow clean up the current structure an migrate balances and open positions into that?

 

Our own intuition is to start with a new structure.

can you share the process you have followed ,

 

in indian scenario you need to book the CVD amount before GR and the  same MIRO documtne number you need to provide while doing GR as commercial invoice number.

I have a small question, Is it mandatory to apply the YE phase 111 note? I ask as we have done all the W2 audits which are looking fine and are ready to run the live W2 production run.

I'd like to add another possibility of causing this Error (ME740), although this thread is already answered. I had the same issue, an I checked every hint given in this thread.

 

The reason i got this error was a setting in SCOT in the SMTP node: Check the Settings for the "Supported adress types" an then in "internet" (checkbox needs to be filled). Then check, if the Email or Email-Domain you used in SU01 is mentioned in the "address area " Box.

All sender adresses need to be mentioned in the "adress area". Otherwise the Mail will not go out.

hi diana,

sorry i dont have any 312 system where i can check whether onSelect for a dropdown is triggered or not.

But i did on 317/318 and it works there. Based on the info you have provided till now, your scipt is not called at all when you select an entry from dropdown.

So best thing i would say is that to upgrade kernel patch level.

Hello Matt,

 

we are experiencing the same error in our landscape. The design is that we have all satellite systems connected and providing data towards PI Prod SLD (7.31) and from that one it is pushed to other SLDs - PI Dev, PI QA and Solman QA and Solman Prod (7.02).

 

We are encountering issues while data transfer is made from PI Prod SLD to Solman SLDs with error message "Socket output stream shutdown by peer", basically the same one as described above by Christian.

 

After I read your reply on his issue, I believe we have the problem as you describe... that the Solman can be only a source, not a target.

 

Could you please confirm that?

String concatenation we overcome this by writing a small C function and creating a dll and call it for concatenation for large files. just food for your thoughts

Powlas, thank you for the response.

 

Yes, we have it installed. I was able to fix this issue adding command line parameters to the APS.

But now I encounter the attached error while making selection of values.

 

This thread states this is a known issue;but not sure if this relates to the error I have

 

Please assist.

te había entendido mal al escribir un guión delante de las cifras.

 

Si quieres utilizar este informe como indicas, debes indicar en fecha de movimientos tres meses, por ejemplo, a partir del día de hoy, o el máximo vencimiento que tengas definido en tu sistema.

 

Espero te sirva de ayuda.

Asset History Sheet

While executing  Asset History Sheet  (S_ALR_87012000, error is showing that  “Account AUC1 1 and/or asset class AUC_DOM 2 not assigned to the register”.



Manually correction has been done  according to the SAP NOTE 658890 - Reporting: Incomplete standard asset history sheet but still getting same error.

Can we see attribute and analytics view in SAP ECC which are created in HANA DB

Hello all,

I created few attribute and analytic view in HANA DB using Hana studio. Can i access those those attribute and analytics views in SAP ECC?

I have SAP ECC7 installed based upon SAP HANA DB and i created these views in schema 'SAPABAP1', this is a test system only.
